Leni Riefenstahl

Leni Riefenstahl is an interesting character.  she made some of the most famous nazi propaganda films but at the same time was developing techniques that had never been used before such as tracking rails and multiple cameras used.  From reading up about her a bit more it seems that she didn't do much work after the war due to her involvement with the Nazis' which is a bit of a shame as if she were able to put her creative ideas into some proper projects rather than hate filled nonsense then she may have been able to make some quite profound an interesting films.  seems she made a film just before her death in 2003 which might be worth checking out if i get the chance at some point.
